First Aid course
Today we had Dave from St John's come and teach us about how to act in an emergency.
We learned how to bandage cuts tightly. We practiced on each other making sure we kept our snail shape with the bandage and tucked the end in to keep it secure. We Learned that once the cut is bandaged the person should keep their injury elevated to help slow down the bleeding.

We were also able to explore Dave's ambulance and see all the different tools and equipment, including a telephone in the back that talks to the hospital.
Mr Harrop was even allowed to sit in the driver's seat and put on the lights and sirens he had a blast!
